As we are now closing out Summer and (like it or not) embracing Fall, we must adapt to change. The symbolism of the changing colour of leaves, makes us reflect on what we let go of, what's next and what we are grateful for. We are all aware that we grow from our experiences. We must be open to 'strange' in order to make room for 'change', in the process of becoming higher quality individuals. This year has been filled with change of various degrees and all have enriched me. As a person who seeks to understand, these have been confusing times with conflicting information and beliefs. In the end, we must be comfortable with our choices, thoughtfully. Speaking of change, this year, Auroma has not introduced any new products because the existing selections have been ultimately the most popular. Should that stop me from further exploring change? Not at all! Life is a series of continuous improvements. It's only a matter of time that inspiration will strike at the right time, for the right reason. Per David Bowie: Turn to face the strange (Changes). #temperance Stay well everyone, keep moving forward - your doing great!! Breathe Deeply,

Wow, what a year! Unreal, in good and not so good ways. Let's not dwell. Rather, always have something to look forward to. It could be simply making Sunday morning brunch for your family, your sweetie - or just for you. It doesn't matter. With Christmas right around the corner, it's important to appreciate what we have and those present in our life. Despite it all, we remain fortunate, screw you COVID. Christmas markets were different this year. Let's face it, this is the most important time of year for us hand makers - it's when the sun shines for us because we can show you what we have, what's new, and most importantly CONNECT with you! Shoppers make this an annual event and look forward to exploring the various markets in search of something special and unique - for someone special and unique. It's the most wonderful time of the year! But we couldn't connect.. AND THEN: we united, created and grew (not just in pounds). ...and aha, the markets went online! How simple could it be to hunt and peck for unique gifts now? And most times, it's delivered to your door! Our sales have been amazing (thank you COVID) and we are so grateful to ALL of you. In kind, we further support the hand-made community by purchasing our gifts from fellow makers. #support #kind Merry Christmas all, Breathe everyone, just breathe.. I can't speak for everyone, but I can attest that this has been the most interesting summer of my life. Good things happened! I focused on growing a garden and improving my golf game. I also exercised the creative side of my brain and developed a couple of new products!
There are a few more positive things that happened as a result of COVID-19... restaurants are REALLY clean now! And people are reminded to be more proper and mindful of space. Culture is changing - hurray! Focus on peace, be open to change and most of all, be kind. Let's all breathe deeply, because we can!! Spring.. well, Summer is here. Are you ready? Why not, when so many of us are self-isolating. Please focus on what matters - kindness.
And then..Gardening. Planting. New life. Naturally. This year has taught us the importance of levelling the ground, clearing the table and getting it right. Are you ready? I am. In fact, Auroma has been setting this up for a few years now. Check out our product line-up of ethically sourced and all natural products. Be well. Please be good to each other. Stay well, naturally. Give a hug when you "look" at someone, even if you can't do so physically. Breathe Deeply, because you can! Without a doubt, these are most troubling times. Where to start here...
Let's try to exercise tolerance for those who share dramatic information on social media, they are scared and need comfort and attention. Remain calm and practice good habits, have respectable behaviour and most of all, show grace. We all have elderly loved ones who require special attention - at a distance. Kids trying to make it home from University, loved ones who are trying to race home from abroad. I'm very appreciative for those in the medical, essentials services and other service roles who don't have the option to work from home. Never mind COVID-19, the economic disparity going on taps the mind as well. It's during these times we reflect and understand what to appreciate and understand clearly what has been taken for granted. People are our most valuable commodity now. Let's take care of each other and with resilience, we will get through this together! And... moisturize that well disinfected skin of yours! Naturally! We are mixing and shipping fresh batches to take care of you - check out our online shop. Stay well everyone. |
