With the last Christmas Market all done, it's time to show my appreciation. This has been an amazing yet life altering year for me.
I sincerely thank my new and returning customers who follow me on Facebook and made a point of stopping by at my shows. I am always flattered to hear people speak positively about my products and how well they work for their family. Thanks to your feedback, I'm already formulating a couple of new ideas for 2018, so please keep watch of my Website and Facebook for new releases. I realize for some, 2017 has not been a great year. Lay off's persist here in Alberta, but word on the street is encouraging. The proof is in the bank account. Let's keep thinking positively and let the pessimistic and negative slide past us. Lastly, I would like to thank my very great girlfriends Ruth and Heather, who stepped in to get my daughter to her dance practices when I had to be away at Christmas Markets. You ladies are amazing friends and consistent support, I love you and I'm blessed to have you in my life (big hugs). Let's all keep focused, loving and positive in 2018. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Most of all - Breathe Deeply everyone - you matter! #havingaterribletime (not)

Looky here... Christmas market season is once again upon us. I LOVE this time of year - why? Because it's a time when makers like myself are at their most creative point. It's at this time of year when customers are most focused on finding that unique gift for someone special - something meaningful and caring. Something that their friends and family would truly appreciate. At no other time of year are people thinking so far out of the box - seeking unique is what makers like us wait to hear about, from you! Auroma Natural Products are always changing the product line to adapt to customer ask. Never swaying from our local, sustainable and natural model - we're here for you! So when you stop to chat with a Vendor, really make a point of letting them know what your looking for. And most of all, be kind. We are all there wanting to fulfill your need - not badger or annoy you - we are interested in knowing because it helps us grow! Most of all, dress for the weather, take your time, and enjoy the experience! We are! Breathe Deeply - because you can! Well... look at that. Fall-time. Already?! Here in Alberta, we've enjoyed the most amazing summer on record. I'm so grateful for the experiences I've had with friends, family and just taking it all in. Now reality hits and we start thinking about an Indian Summer (or I should say Indigenous summer, to be correct). Either way, leaves are falling and snow will fly - so what's next? Indoor stuff. School commences. Furnaces ignite. Chills in the air and yes.. cold and flu season.
Here's a reminder to drink plenty of fluids (ahem..), eat healthy and practise self-care. For the fall, we are mixing up a fresh batch of our popular Exhale chest rub that is plant based and a non-petroleum alternative to a popular vapour rub. Safe for all ages over 3. Also very popular with the dry air here is the Auroma Body Lotion. What was created as a moisturizer for tattoo's has become a hit for super dry skin and also eczema sufferers. If you see me at a Christmas market, ask of a sample! You'll see why it's a top seller! Check out my website for where my markets are or reach out directly for your custom orders. And as always, Breathe Deeply and stay well! Yes, it's that time of year again - hurray! The trees are starting to leaf, the tulips are poking out for some warm sun.... and very shortly, our yellow blossom buddies will pop up everywhere.
PLEASE don't kill them with chemicals, Bees require them for pollination and if you spray, and bees suckle them, they die. Instead, pick the greens, wash them and put them in your salad! Here's why: 1. They contain high levels of potassium and reduces blood pressure; 2. They are rich in calcium and Vitamin C - perfect to help with bone density; 3. Stimulates the production of insulin! 4. High anti-oxidant; 5. Natural diuretic and removes toxins from the liver (Can I get another round over here?). Worried about the bitterness of dandelion greens? No need - Try this super simple and delicious sautéed recipe: ingredients:
Enjoy my friends - stay well! Welcome Spring, day-light savings time, new blooms.. and pollen. Fortunately I do not suffer from allergies, but know many who do. While living in Vancouver, I was blessed to be surrounded by cherry blossoms in the spring, but it wasn't so lovely for friends and co-workers. My puffy eyed friends popped bottles of commercial pharmaceuticals, talked like Sloth from the Goonies and suffered through pollen season as (unattractive) mouth breathers. Got the visual? Bet you had it at Sloth, didn't you? Here are a few tips to help ease your symptoms so that you can better enjoy the spring season.
The most common symptoms of spring allergies in pets are excessively scratching face and ears, chewing the fur, licking paws, sneezing, coughing and no desire to eat. The allergic reaction can come from inhaling allergens or frolicking in grass hosting pollen and molds. Though it’s hard, the best you can do is to:
