It's that time of year when everyone goes ga-ga for Pumpkin Spice! And why not - who can resist the comforting scent of fall as we return to cooking inside the home, the seasoned spice in our food and the crispness in the air around us. I have many customers who love the scent of pumpkin spice but as always, I need to remind them to stay away from carcinogenic chemicals found in most fragrant candles, melts and sprays. Make your own Pumpkin Spice Room Spray using pure essential oils. Here's how: What do you need? Essential oils: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Cardamon, Ginger and Orange Distilled Water A glass spray bottle (make one by adding a spray top to an old apple cider vinegar bottle) Then what? Mix: 8 ounces of distilled water 20 drops cinnamon essential oil 15 drops nutmeg essential oil 15 drops ginger essential oil 15 drops cloves essential oil 10 drops orange essential oil 5 drops cardamon essential oil Now What? Put cap on and shake well before each use. ... or simply ask me to create some for you! Look for my Pumpkin Spice wax melts for your warmers at upcoming shows in September and October. Breathe Deeply - because you can!
